in late february, thermaltake announced three, new cooling solutions dedicated to the new am4 socket for amd ryzen computers. the cooling solutions include the contac silent 12 cpu cooler, the water 3.0 riing rgb all-in-one cooler, and the pacific w4 rgb cpu water block.

thermaltake also announced that it was using universal mounting mechanisms to make things easier for custom computer builders. the contac silent 12 and he pacific w4 will both be available for customers as early as march with the water 3.0 riing expected to be available in april.
the contac silent 12 features a 12 mm pwm controlled fan to give superior heat transfer with near-silent operation thanks largely to a new design for the fan blades. the blades generate a large volume of air to pass across the heat sink at any angle.
it also includes a hydraulic bearing that self-lubricates with a friction-reducing substance in order to lower the noise and increase efficiency. the contac silent 12 has aluminum fins (0.4 mm thick) with 2.2 mm gaps for air to pass through and also includes four copper heat pipes to spread the heat quickly from the cpu.
the water 3.0 riing rgb all-in-one cooler has a patented, circular formation of 120 mm rgb radiator fans that incorporate up to 256 colors. the controller allows the suser to switch between five led modes and an option to cycle the colors.
more importantly, the fans were built with high-static pressure design to improve cooling performance. it also has a specially designed 360 mm surface that doubles the cooling surface area and supports up to six additional fans. there is also a copper base plate to hasten heat transfer and it comes pre-filled with liquid coolant with a pump that maximizes coolant circulation and a low evaporation tube that removes the need for refilling the coolant.
the pacific w4 rgb cpu water block has a specially engineered led light that has seven static color modes and can cycle through 256 colors. it has a copper base with a mirror finish and anti-corrosive nickel plating. it has 0.15 mm microchannel fins to optimize fit and heat dissipation. it is intended to be part of a custom open-loop liquid cooling system.
