Rosenberg Introduces High-Efficiency Backward Curved Fans With w5.5 kW EC Motors

the new kh series fans from rosenberg include 450 mm, 500 mm, and 560 mm models. they deliver up to 7 inches static pressure or up to 10,000 cfm of airflow at free air for a wide range of hvac and air movement applications.

three sizes of rosenberg backward curved fans with electronically commutated (ec) motors are now available with three-phase 5.5 kw motors for greater power and efficiency. they are 100% speed controllable and are ce, ul and rohs approved.

other features include closed motor protection class ip 44/54 for reliability in humid environments, thermal contacts wired into windings for motor protection, and standard maintenance-free ball bearings.

the range of sizes for the new kh series fans includes 450 mm, 500 mm, and 560 mm fans. they deliver up to 7 inches of water gauge of static pressure or up to 10,000 cfm of airflow at free air, perfect for a wide range of hvac and air movement applications.

their highly efficient free-running impellers are made of saltwater-proof aluminum and are balanced according to quality class g 2.5, din/iso 1940. the fans can be supplied as complete modules equipped with airflow optimized inlet cones. module enclosures and inlet cones are made from galvanized sheet steel.

rosenberg backward curved ec fans feature extended-life, low-temperature brushless dc motors that are controlled by maintenance-free electronic circuitry. because of reduced mechanical content, electronically commutated (ec) rosenberg fan motors run cooler and quieter.

rosenberg backward curved fans can also be made to customer-defined specifications including airflow, power, rotational speeds, noise level, overall dimensions and finish.
