“A Comprehensive Approach to Thermal Design and Validation” will introduce engineers to the three phases of thermal design: analytical modeling, computational modeling (CFD), and empirical modeling.

It will be presented by Dr. Kaveh Azar, the CEO and founder of ATS, who will explain how analytical modeling is a critical step to create first-order solutions. Ananth Sridhar, an applications engineer with Future Facilties, will explain how 6SigmaET can be used to simulate thermal conditions in a system (free suites of 6SigmaET will be available for participants). Finally, attendees will go into the ATS labs and learn techniques for testing designs under real-world conditions.
