Future Facilities and ATS co-sponsoring free, hands-on workshop for Boston-area engineers

Advanced Thermal Solutions, Inc. (ATS), a leading-edge thermal engineering and manufacturing company focused on the thermal management of electronics, and Future Facilities, the developer of engineering simulation software 6SigmaET, have announced a joint workshop on Wednesday, Sept. 12.

“A Comprehensive Approach to Thermal Design and Validation” will introduce engineers to the three phases of thermal design: analytical modeling, computational modeling (CFD), and empirical modeling.

With accelerated product design timelines, thermal engineers today need to leverage tools across the entire product life-cycle phase to design a robust thermal solution at the lowest possible cost. Join ATS and Future Facilities, for a free, hands-on workshop and learn how to tackle thermal challenges in modern electronics, from concept to final validation.

The workshop will run from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. EST and will be held at the ATS headquarters, 89 Access Rd. Norwood, Mass. Lunch will be provided.

It will be presented by Dr. Kaveh Azar, the CEO and founder of ATS, who will explain how analytical modeling is a critical step to create first-order solutions. Ananth Sridhar, an applications engineer with Future Facilties, will explain how 6SigmaET can be used to simulate thermal conditions in a system (free suites of 6SigmaET will be available for participants). Finally, attendees will go into the ATS labs and learn techniques for testing designs under real-world conditions.

This will be an invaluable learning tool for all engineers involved in the design process. Seats are limited, so make sure you register today.
