Rittal North America Introduces New Blue e Outdoor Cooling Unit

Rittal North America LLC, a leading manufacturer of enclosures and climate control solutions, introduces a new UL 3R/4 rated cooling unit for outdoor use.

The new product extends the Blue e line of air conditioners and fills a void in the marketplace for outdoor-compliant enclosure climate control.

Built to moderate enclosure climate in outdoor temperatures ranging from -4 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit, the unit protects electronics and controls reliably in a variety of outdoor environments, including rain, wind, snow, ice and dust. The Blue e unit is compatible with the award-winning IoT interface to provide network interconnectivity, and remote monitoring and control.

Other key benefits include:

  • Eye bolt for transport and easy installation (>1000W)
  • Nano-coated condenser
  • Vandal-resistant comfort controller located inside the enclosure
  • Integrated condensate evaporator (>1000W)

“We’re always expanding our product portfolio to meet the needs of our customers,” said Mike Freund, managing director for Rittal North America LLC. “The new 3R/4 cooling unit is a best-in-class climate solution that delivers protection and peace of mind to our customers. They know Rittal quality will protect their equipment year-after-year in the world’s most challenging environments.”

The new unit carries a number of approvals and ratings, including NEMA 12, NEMA 3R, NEMA 4, cULus listing, cULus FTTA, CE and EAC.
