Aavid Thermalloy Releases New Line of DC Brushless Fans and Blowers

aavid thermalloy has released a new line of dc brushless fans and blowers. aavid thermalloy is  focusing on oem, odm and private label clients with both custom design and manufacture of the dc brushless fans and blowers.   the product line features aavid's "flb" bearing structure designed to increases the fan life efficiency by 30% compared to the sleeve bearing.

aavid's flb technology is a fluid lubricant bearing (flb) which is the latest developed innovation. the flb addresses the major problems of the traditional sleeve bearing and is able to increase the life expectancy over the traditional sleeve bearing by more than 60%.  traditional sleeve bearings are structured to be shock resistant and low in cost however, it is not suitable for high performance needs. sleeve bearings are only ideal for applications that do not require high amounts of cfm. due to the structure of the traditional sleeve bearing it becomes noisy and wears out very quickly when performance is in high demand. flb technology is designed to solve the 3 major problems for traditional sleeve bearing's short life span: lubricant leakage or evaporation, dust tainting the lubricant and overheating.
