Dr. Azar explains the importance of maintaining battery temperatures to ensure lifespan and performance of EV as well as some of the current techniques being used across the automotive industry to meet the demands of consumers and manufacturers alike.

“Maintaining the proper operating temperature for electric vehicle (EV) batteries is a critical component of the spread of EV across the world,” an article highlighting the webinar explained. “If batteries are too hot, then the batteries will degrade faster, and safety becomes a concern. At lower temperatures, battery capacity and performance suffer.”
