Lytron Relaunches its Engineers Units Converter & Equation Solver

lytron recently announced the upgrade of its units converter and equation solver. unit conversion options have increased from 13 to 16 with the addition of kinematic viscosity, dynamic viscosity, and temperature difference. equation options have increased from six to eight with the addition of volumetric flow rate and mass flow rate. common liquid densities were added as well to assist engineers in solving volumetric-to-mass flow and dynamic-kinematic viscosity equations. complimentary copies of lytron's units converter and equation solver can be accessed at http://www.lytron.com/support/units_index.htm and used online or downloaded.

the units converter and equation solver enhancements were made based on several months of feedback from engineers and scientists. the units converter and equation solver tool was first launched in february to help engineers save time in solving complex thermal equations. the units converter focuses on thermal terms and allows users to convert from one unit of measure to another simply by entering a value and its unit of measure and then clicking on the preferred unit. conversion options in the units converter include all major units of measure, with up to 20 conversion units for each category and results calculated to three decimal places. engineers can also click a button to "show conversions for all units", and see the conversion factor displayed for each calculation. with the equation solver, engineers can select an equation to solve and enter their preferred units for each variable. they can also solve for any variable in the equation, simply by entering the known variables and moving the solve button to the unknown variable.

the units converter and equation solver tool is helping engineers and scientists to save time with their calculations. the tool is recommended for engineers trying to determine the appropriate liquid cooling technologies for their systems. lytron recommends checking its website for updates to the tool.
