Jaro Thermal "Skive" Cooler Combines Copper Skived Heat Sink with Fan for Small Form Factors

jaro thermal, inc., an iso 9001/2 qs 9000 certified thermal managment firm has released their latest product, the skive cooler.  by embedding a leading-edge 50x50x13 mm fan inside of a skived-copper-fin heatsink, jaro's unique "skive" cooler significantly reduces height requirements for low-profile applications, while providing unsurpassed surface-area. the dense arrangement of thin copper fins offers unheralded thermal conductivity. applications: network interface cards, video graphic cards, pci express & ic spot cooling: customizable fin thickness & pitch.


these coolers incorporate a 6,000 rpm fan that operates with 12vdc and produces 6.2 cfm of airflow. the nominal noise level is 26.0 db and they have a life expectancy of 70,000 hours when operated at 40 degrees c and 65% relative humidity. the units weigh 14 grams and consume 1.2w of power.
