Mikros Technologies has Begun Shipping its NCP Cold Plates in Sample Quantities


claremont, nh, april 2, 2005 – mikros technologies, a leading provider of high performance thermal management solutions, has begun shipping its ncp cold plates in sample quantities. these high performance liquid cooled cold plates utilize mikros technologies’ patented normal flow technology to deliver exceptional performance. all early results from site evaluations have positively confirmed the performance data provided by mikros technologies and have shown significant performance advantage over existing high performance cold plates.

beyond delivering the standard cold plates, mikros is working with a number of manufacturers of power electronics, lasers, servers and thermoelectric systems to design and build custom cold plates in a variety of form factors all using the sane ncp core technology.

the mikros ncp can be effectively used in a variety of demanding applications such as:

  • a wide range of heat fluxes�(from�low to�over 1200 w/cm2)
