msi released the trident in mid-november, a system that it claims will be the smallest virtual reality-ready gaming pc on the market. in addition, msi also announced that it was including a geforce gtx 1060 graphics card and the latest intel core processors, but with a proprietary thermal management system called silent storm 2.

as an article on slash gear highlighted, silent storm 2 allows the small package with high-powered components to run at “optimum performance without overheating and without adding lots of noise to your room.”
the cooling system works by separating key components into different compartments within the chassis. air flows through each compartment, lowering the junction temperature of each component separately. a liquid cooling option is also available on some msi computers.
there is an rgb mystic light system that will give the chassis a cool look with plenty of colors for users to choose from and there is also an hdmi port on the front panel and a “one-click-to-vr” feature that makes it easier for users to experience virtual reality.
