Custom Liquid-to-Liquid Cooling System Spotlight

custom liquid cooling systemwhen a large amount of heat needs to be removed and chilled facility water is available, lytron recommends a compact standard liquid-to-liquid cooling system (lcs).the standard lcs has a high-efficiency counterflow heat exchanger, tight temperature control (0.5c), and cooling capacities up to 20 kw. lytron’s engineering team can customize the lcs, as well as any of lytron’s standard products, to meet your particular needs. below is one example of what types of customizations can be made...

a large us-based manufacturer needed a rack mount lcs that could maintain a process water temperature of 25c ( 5c) on a critical section of its manufacturing line. the manufacturer's application only required 2.5kw of cooling. since lytron’s standard lcss are not available in a rack mount, lytron’s engineers started with a standard ambient cooling system (mcs) rack mount design and then added lcs components that would best meet the manufacturer's needs. lytron reduced the footprint of the standard lcs cooling system by utilizing smaller components that provided less cooling than the standard lcs, but provided more than enough cooling for the manufacturer's application. the engineering team also added a temperature control valve that was accessible through a removable panel, thus eliminating the need for a temperature display and some electronics. the manufacturer received a custom cooling system that met its unique needs!
