in may we reported on dow cornings dispensable thermal pads, noting that:
new materials now enable led lamp and luminaire manufacturers to quickly and precisely print a layer of thermally conductive silicone compound in controllable thicknesses on complex substrate shapes while ensuring excellent thermal management properties and reduced manufacturing cost.
in order to better display this product, dow corning has released a new video depicting the actual screen printing of the dispensable thermal pad onto the target location. the video is an excellent demonstration of this technology and its ready application in these situations.
