the lps1100 thick film resistor is non-inductive (less than 0.1 microhenry) and provides a resistance range from 1 ohm to 1.3 kilohms. designed for easy mounting to a heat sink, the device's compact footprint, low 25 mm profile, and low weight of 79 grams save valuable space to help designers reduce the size of their end products.

with its high power capabilities and high dielectric strength to 12 kv rms, the lps1100 is intended for power supply, inverter, converter, hev-ev battery management, and snubber, chopper, pre-charge, discharge, filtering, and crowbar resistor applications. typical end products will include windmill turbines, x-ray and oncology tables, trains, and large ups drives.

thermal resistance for the lps1100 resistor at rated power and + 25 degreesc is 0.039 degreesc/w junction-to-case. the device features a temperature coefficient of 150 ppm/ degreesc, tolerances from 1 to 10 %, and an operating temperature from - 55 degreesc to + 200 degreesc. the resistor is compliant to rohs directive 2011/65/eu.
