Marlow Industries Introduces "Climatherm," the Industry's Highest Performance Air-to-Air Thermoelectric Assembly

marlow industries, world leader in thermoelectric technology, today announced the availability of a new high-performance air-to-air thermoelectric cooling assembly— climatherm. manufactured using marlow’s exclusive, in-house manufacturing processes, the new assemblies provide up to 125 percent greater performance than current air-to-air thermoelectric assemblies, in an exceptionally light and compact package.

“our new climatherm product is a reflection of marlow’s commitment to meet or exceed customer expectations,” said bud parish, director of global system engineering and emerging markets. “higher performance, lighter weight and greater power efficiencies make our new assembly the best all-around cooling solution on the market for a wide range of applications.”

air-to-air thermoelectric cooling assemblies are critical to protecting electronic equipment in the most rugged environmental conditions. not only does marlow’s new cooling assembly provide protection in extreme temperatures but it also carries ip55 rated fans—critical for industrial and telecommunications applications. with exceptional thermal performance, the assembly can be used for cooling, high efficiency heating or concurrent temperature mode applications.

leading the industry for innovation, marlow’s new high-performance cooling assembly provides up to 250 watts of cooling power at nominal voltage, the most powerful on the market, in the industry’s lightest weight package (5.5 kg). this new lightweight, high-watt assembly fits into an industry standard "200w" package. to accommodate applications across the telecommunications, medical, defense, industrial and electronics industries, marlow offers multiple design options including 24v or 48v and hot-side or cold-side wiring.

“with a patent pending on this new high-performance assembly, we are looking forward to helping our customers derive greater operational efficiencies,” said steven ayres, system designer. “for example, one of our customers reports a 50 percent decrease in cooling time for their refrigeration application—a significant achievement for an application that is cycled on once per day. overall customers will be able to dial-down input power requirements while increasing cooling performance.”

marlow’s new climatherm assemblies are currently available online to the general market for rfq. customization is available upon request.
