Moving to Liquid Cooling: Common Sense Design Considerations


this tutorial guides you through the basics of liquid cooling from common sense design considerations to selecting appropriate products. it covers design considerations such as cooling fluids, location of cooling elements and identifying heat loads and locations. we will briefly outline modeling and prediction and the use of manufacturer's performance data. thermal calculations and the use of normalized thermal resistance curves will be explained. we will explain the options for removing heat from the cold plate using heat exchangers, chillers and other types of cooling system. the workshop will be based around a case study..
