How To Cool 10 Kilowatts of Rack Servers With Water

Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory did a “how to” study on liquid cooling for rack level servers. Using equipment from Asetek, Cisco, Intel, and Joulex. The video goes through the test setup, the server load case and the results. A very interesting presentation and results at 270 Watts per server, 38 Cisco servers, 10 Kilowatts total, in the rack.  As part of the “how to” study,  the researchers found a 50% saving in using liquid for this project.  This video lasts 20 minutes.
